Barefoot Manta Island Resort lies in a superb location between three beaches. Sunrise Beach is for the early birds and great for a morning paddle board, Sunset Beach is perfect for afternoon cocktails, and Manta Ray Beach overlooking the channel which is visited every year between May and October by a population of manta ray. The in-house marine biology team carries out their research on the manta rays as well as clams, coral, and fish species present in the Marine Protected Area surrounding the island.   • Beachfront Adi (Queen) Bure – 1x queen bed (max occupancy 2 adults – double only) en suite, fan. Beachfront on Sunset Beach with a balcony and a charming semi-covered private bathroom.

Fuel Surcharge

Fuel Surcharge applicable for travel

FUEL SURCHARGE IN EFFECT – UPDATED MONDAY 1ST OF JANUARY 2024

South Sea Cruises currently has a fuel surcharge to take effect for customers travelling with us on a resort transfer as well as applicable day trips. 

South Sea Cruises also notes that since setting the 2023/24 transfer rates, the Fiji Government has removed the 10c per litre duty concession which South Sea Cruises had factored into our rates at the time of issue and has now had to absorb. 

The applicable fuel surcharges in effect for travel as of Friday, 1st December 2023 are as follows:

  • Awesome Adventures Fiji Package or Pass customers – $15 per person. 
  • Resort Transfer only customers travelling to/from all Yasawa Island Resorts (including Vomo) – $15 per adult/$7.50 per child (2-15 years only) for each one-way sector. 

All fuel surcharges stated are in FJD and include applicable taxes.

Resort Transfer services to the Yasawa Islands are cancelled today in the interest of customer and crew safety. We ask all customers for their patience and understanding in this regard.

Resort Transfer services to the Yasawa Islands will continue to operate today as scheduled but are subject to delays and/or a suspension of services without prior notice should our Operations and/or Vessel Crews decide to do so in the interest of customer and crew safety. We ask all customers for their patience and understanding in this regard.
