Itinerary outline

  • South Sea Island - seating

    Day 1

    Depart Port Denarau for South Sea Island where you have complimentary full use of all the non-motorised watersports activities on this action-packed little island! Your stay here also includes drinks (local beer, house wine, and soft drinks) from 9:45am to 4.00pm.
    Accommodation: Mamanuca Region

  • Snorkelling - Yasawa Islands

    Day 2

    On the morning of day 2, travel to the Manta Ray Region on board the vessel. During your stay here you have 2 activities included so make sure to book these in as soon as you check in at your resort. The highlight of course will be a swim with the majestic manta ray (May-Oct) or a guided reef snorkeling trip.

  • Barefoot Manta Island Resort - beach
    Day 3

    On your last day in the region, why not do a sunrise summit hike to take in the expansive views, go kayaking, paddle boarding or just relax on the beach before boarding the vessel in the late afternoon for the cruise back to Port Denarau arriving at 6.00pm.

Fuel Surcharge

Fuel Surcharge applicable for travel

FUEL SURCHARGE IN EFFECT – UPDATED MONDAY 1ST OF JANUARY 2024

South Sea Cruises currently has a fuel surcharge to take effect for customers travelling with us on a resort transfer as well as applicable day trips. 

South Sea Cruises also notes that since setting the 2023/24 transfer rates, the Fiji Government has removed the 10c per litre duty concession which South Sea Cruises had factored into our rates at the time of issue and has now had to absorb. 

The applicable fuel surcharges in effect for travel as of Friday, 1st December 2023 are as follows:

  • Awesome Adventures Fiji Package or Pass customers – $15 per person. 
  • Resort Transfer only customers travelling to/from all Yasawa Island Resorts (including Vomo) – $15 per adult/$7.50 per child (2-15 years only) for each one-way sector. 

All fuel surcharges stated are in FJD and include applicable taxes.

This heavy rain warning coupled with what is expected to be rough seas has resulted in some disruption to our services. 

Resort Transfer services to the Yasawa Islands are cancelled today in the interest of customer and crew safety. We ask all customers for their patience and understanding in this regard.

This heavy rain warning coupled with what is expected to be moderate – rough seas has resulted in some disruption to our services. 

Resort Transfer services to the Yasawa Islands will continue to operate today as scheduled but are subject to delays and/or a suspension of services without prior notice should our Operations and/or Vessel Crews decide to do so in the interest of customer and crew safety. We ask all customers for their patience and understanding in this regard.
